Sonic Youth
 Lee's Tuning: GGDDFF
 Thurston's tuning: GGDDEbEb

I don't take credit but am just passing foward the tab.

 Lee's part...
the song starts off with a bit of studio weirdness, until T's guitar (right speaker)
chimes in. when the drums kick in, lee starts playing the verse riff...

F-----------0----------------------0---------------------0------0----0---0---|
F-----------0----------------------0---------------------0------0----0---0---|
D---2---2-------2---3----3--3---3-----3--3--3/7---7---7-----7------7---7---7-|
D---2---2-----------3----3--3---3--------3--3/7---7---7----------------------|
G---2---2-----------3----3--3---3--------3--3/7---7---7----------------------|
G---2---2-----------3----3--3---3--------3--3/7---7---7----------------------|

the chorus starts with something like this...

F------------------|
F------------------|
D----7\5--5----5---|
D----7\5--5----5---|
G----7\5--5----5---|
G----7\5--5----5---|

then, it goes on to this...

F---5--5--5--5---4--4--4--4----0--0--0-------------------------------|
F---5--5--5--5---4--4--4--4----0--0--0-------------------------------|
D-------------------------------------------5--5/7--7--7--7--7--7----|

G----------------------------------------5--5--5/7--7--7--7--7--7----|
G----------------------------------------5--5--5/7--7--7--7--7--7----|
play that twice, then play this...

F---5--5--5--5----4--4--4--4---------------------------------------------|
F---5--5--5--5----4--4--4--4---------------------------------------------|
D------------------------------------12--12---10---12--10--10---12-------|
D------------------------------------12--12---10---12--10--10---12-------|
G------------------------------------12--12---10---12--10--10---12-------|
G------------------------------------12--12---10---12--10--10---12-------|
                                {_______play this part 4 times_______}

then, go back to verse....

The bridge is rather tough to figure out, since lee's guitar is mixed very low.
but, from what i can figure out, he just plays these three chords....

F-----0----------7------9-------|
F-----0----------7------9-------|
D-----8----------0------0-------|
D-----8----------0------0-------|
G-----0----------0------0-------|
G-----0----------0------0-------|

coming out of the bridge, lee plays something like this...
F--------------------------2---------|
F--------------------------2---------|
D---7--7--7--7--7--7-------0---------|
D---7--7--7--7--7--7-------0---------|
G---7--7--7--7--7--7-------0---------|
G---7--7--7--7--7--7-------0---------|

then, T plays some weirdness, then it's back to the verse...

after the last verse, lee plays something like this:

F-------------------------------5----5----5-----5------4----4----4-----4----|
F-------------------------------5----5----5-----5------4----4----4-----4----|
D----7\5---5----5-------------0----0----0----0-------0----0----0----0-------|
D----7\5---5----5-------------0----0----0----0-------0----0----0----0-------|
G----7\5---5----5-----------------------------------------------------------|
G----7\5---5----5-----------------------------------------------------------|

play that last part a couple times, then pick behind the bridge with some whammy action...

Thurston's part....

Intro:
for the intro, he plays this chord

Eb-----12--------|
Eb-----12--------|
D------12--------|
D------12--------|
G----------------|
G----------------|

for the verse, T plays a lot of madness. there are a lot of whammy bends high up the neck,
as well as a lot of open D dips during the first verse. just listen to the record,
and have fun with it.....

for the chorus, T starts with a long pick slide, then doubles Lee's part like this

Eb------------------------------------------------------------------------|
Eb------------------------------------------------------------------------|
D-----8--8--8--8---7--7--7--7----3--3--3---------5---5/7--7--7--7--7------|
D-----8--8--8--8---7--7--7--7----3--3--3-----5---5---5/7--7--7--7--7------|
G--------------------------------------------5---5---5/7--7--7--7--7------|
G--------------------------------------------5---5---5/7--7--7--7--7------|

then go to this part... tremolo pick
Eb------------------------------------------------------------------12-----|
Eb------------------------------------------------------------------12-----|
D---8--8--8--8---7--7--7--7----12--12---10---12---10--10---12-------12-----|
D---8--8--8--8---7--7--7--7----12--12---10---12---10--10---12-------12-----|
G------------------------------12--12---10---12---10--10---12--------------|
G------------------------------12--12---10---12---10--10---12--------------|
                            {___play this part four times______}

then, it's back to the verse...

for the bridge, T plays more whammy stuff....

coming out of the bridge, T plays this...

Eb---12--12--12--12--12--12--12----------------------|
Eb---12--12--12--12--12--12--12----------------------|

D----12--12--12--12--12--12--12----------------------|

then he tremolo picks this to go back to the verse:

Eb---12------|
Eb---12------|
D----12------|
D----12------|

then, it's back to the verse.....
after the last verse, T play something like this...

Eb-------------|
