Is It Really So Strange Tabs

(ver. 1)
Smiths
This is a pretty standard Smiths song. Of course Marr improvises a lot by
playing the E chord on the fourth fret while he has another guitar playing an open E chord. A note: When playing the E chord during the verses, to get that one note drone, make sure you play the note G on the lower E string and bend it (with your pinky) to give it that bluesy flavour.

Intro: E E E A B

           E
I left the North
I traveled South
I found a tiny house
  A B E
I can~t help the way I feel
A B E
oh yes you can kick me
and you can punch me
and you can break my face
        A B E
but you won~t change the way i feel
A E
Cause i love you

          G#m C#m F#m B E
And is it really so strange?
          G#m C#m F#m B E

          G#m C#m F#m B-Bb-A
Oh, is it really so, really so strange?
                  B

(but you will still change your mind)

    D-Eb- E
I left the South
I traveled North
I got confused- I killed a horse
  A B E
I can~t help the way I feel
A B E
Oh yes, you can punch me
and you can buck me
and you can break my spine
        A B E
but you won~t change the way I feel
A E
Cause I love you

          G#m C#m F#m B E
And is it really so strange?
          G#m C#m F#m B E

          G#m C#m F#m B-Bb-A
Oh, is it really so, really so strange?
                  B
I say NO, you say YES
                                D
(but you will still change your mind)

D-D-Eb-E
E E A B

           E
I left the North again
I left the South again
I got confused- I killed a nun
  A B E
I CAN~T HELP THE WAY I FEEL
  A B E
I CAN~T HELP THE WAY I FEEL
  A B E
I CAN~T HELP THE WAY I FEEL
A E
(I lost my bag in Newport Pagnell)

           G#m C#m F#m B E
Why is the last mile the hardest mile
   G#m C#m F#m B E
My throat was dry, with the sun in my eyes
      G#m C#m F#m B-Bb-A
And I realised, I realised
That I could never
        B D D-D-Eb-E
I could never, never, never go home again
