Take Me Down
from the album Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness
as tabbed by Jonathan Blanks (firstname.lastname@example.org)
Well here my attempt at it, it should sound alright for the most part.
Tune half step down of course.
A = play on the 5th as a barre chord
B = play on the 7th
C#m = like normal (the 4th fret)
E = play on the 7th
E* = play normal with open strings
G#m = play normal (the 4th fret)
Take me down to the underground
won't you take me down to the underground
why oh why, there is no light and if I can't sleep
will you hold my life
E1 B C#m G#m A
and all I see is you
Take my hand, I lost where I began
In my heart I know all of my faults
Won't you help me understand
And I believe in you, you're the other half of me
Soothe and heal
When you sleep, when you dream, I'll be there when you need me,
Whenever I hear you sing
A E* A
There is sun.......
E B C#m G#m A
It'll come, the sun, I hear them call me down......
E B C#m G#m
I held you once, a love that once, when life had just begun....
and you're all I see
E B C#m G#m
and trumpets blew and angels flew on the other side
and you're all I see, and you're all I need
there's alove that God puts in your heart...
Well there you have it, I'm sure it's not 100% correct but...
