The Girl Ukulele

(ver. 1)
Sleeping With Sirens
This is "song" was originally two small songs Kellin Quinn and Caleb Shomo were writing
at the time and sang what they had for a Collapse Studios video. Both songs are about a
special girl they had in their life. Jesse Lawson played the guitar parts.

This is all played in Drop C with no capo. Just to note, the chords may not be correct,
but they sound pretty accurate (I'm only positive that the D11 is correct). Watch the
video for the strumming pattern, etc.
-----------------------

Kellin's part:

G
Oh ohh ohh ohh oh ohh
A11
Oh ohh ohh ohh oh ohh (x2)

G
Caught my eye from the second you walked by
A11 G
I had to see if I could make you mi-ine
                       A11
Oh, but I ain't got no time to waste, no ti-i-i-i-ime
G
You see my heart, it goes through these motions
A11 Em
But my mind can't decide whether to keep or leave you alone,
A11
Or what I need to make you come back home
Em
The stars are shining on us tonight
A11
You know exactly what is on my mind
             Em
Spare me the details, cut to the chase
A11
Close the curtains 'cause I'm running for ya
                      G
My body's burning for ya

Caleb's part:

Em
You make it too easy girl,
A11
For me to lose myself in your world
Em
All those words I said, all the money spent
A11
All those diamond rings and pearls
Em
You know my chips are down
A11
But we got time to figure it out
Em
I don't know where to start but I know my heart
A11
Won't beat unless you're around
Em A11
So close your eyes, I'm gonna take you for a ride
               Em
The stars are shining on us tonight
G
But girl you know what's on my mind
              Em
Spare me the details, cut to the chase
G
Those curtains close, I'm hurting for ya
                      Em
My body's hurting for ya
