Only Song Chords

(ver. 1)
Sherwood
So I've had this song on my i pod for years but just recently listened to it again
Its been on repeat one for the last 48 hours lol

i was upset there didn't seem to be any actually good tabs of the entire song and i
feel like doing my biology reading so i ended up doing this instead.

I do not pretend to be good at music nor am i claiming by posting this that i am - ive
listened to this song so much to the point where i was actually able to figure it out

Don't butcher it with mean or rude comments - i don't have an account with 911tabs,
won't see them and definitely won't care

If you think its that bad - write your own tab and ill be glad to learn it if it sounds better

positive comments appreciated

Tuning: Standard

Strumming s rather tricky but not terribly hard to figure out

Intro
All of the other intros on the site seem to be perfectly fine. just keep in mind that
are 2 guitars playing this song - you will not be able to make every sound the recording
Deal with it

Also when playing the intro make sure to accent the note into C# then slide into the D -
the way it was written and it sounds wayy better in my opinon

         D
And I'm ok
                         D/B
Seems I just needed a break
                          Em/D
Sat down but now I'm up again
                       A7
And finding out I'm alone
                        D
My friends left me behind
                  D/B
And into another town
                          Em/D
Where this boy is not around
                    A7
And I don't blame them

I'd do the same
    (B) (A) G-F#m7
And now I'm alone again

F#m7 A D G
    F#m7
So I'll sing along to the on ly song I've ever known
F#m7 A D G
And I'll sing it out to the lonely ones, oh oh oh

Those days are gone but the nights roll on taking their place
So I'm singing it out to the lonely ones

Filler - One Bar
D-A-B-G <-----each of these is a quarter note

D D/B
Hey, let's write the story again
                           Em/D
Where I'm your lover and best friend
                          A7 D
Pack our backs and we'll leave this old ghost town behind
                   D/B
And into another town
                      Em/D
Where this boy is not around
                        A
He made the mistake of leaving you
(B) (A) G - F#m7
That was mistake number ten

F#m7
So I'll sing along to the only song I've ever known
                A D G
And I'll sing it out to the lonely ones, oh oh oh
F#m7 A D G
Those days are gone but the nights roll on taking their place
              A D G
So I'm singing it out to the lonely ones

SOLO
I play the solo without ever leaving bottom 3 strings just because it sounds higher
that way - but all of the other solos on this site seem perfectly fine and its just a matter
which you memorize or figure out first - its fairly simple so im not going to bother tabbing it out

D(hold) D/B(hold)
Hey, let's write the story again
Em/D(hold)
Where I'm your lover and best friend

Same as all the other verses

So I'll sing along to the only song I've ever known
And I'll sing it out to the lonely ones, oh oh oh
Those days are gone but the nights roll on taking their place
So I'm singing it out to the lonely ones, oh oh oh
Oh oh oh
