Overview:
This is the first song from the 2000 album 'Deviant' and opens up with a
classic Jim Davies riff. Be sure to tune the bottom two strings down one
step, and for ease of playing, you might want to change strings to some
heavy bottom/light top gauge ones. His tone comes from his Ibanez 'SCR',
and also RG550's, RG570's. He puts these into his Marshall 1959SLP reissue
head, and Marshall vintage cab which he uses as a power amplifier on the
clean channel. As effects go, he gets them mostly from his Rocktron 'Chameleon'
which is his rack effects box. On the floor he uses his Jim Dunlop wah
very powerful version), DOD Envelope Filter (or Guyatone WR2 Wah Rocker)
and Digitech Whammy pedal.
For this track, the Chameleon is used for distortion, chorus (essential)
and his Jim Dunlop wah is also used.
