Cant ya see by the look in our eyes that the rock revolution wont be televised?

She and her music were becoming known across the continental united states for her message and her activism
The FBI even had a file with her name on it for disturbing the peace and the security of the nation

Chorus many times
Final half of last chorus:

            G D Em D
             G
And its truth so it comes as no surprise, that the rock revolution wont be televised.

Occasionally on the first D chord of the chorus, they play:
D Dsus4 D Dsus2 D
Just throw it in when it sounds good.
