Headlights Tabs

(ver. 1)
Morning Parade
Tuning: Drop D (DADGBe)
In the song he doesn't actually play A the second time, it just sounds really nice bc other instruments in the
background play it. And it drives me crazy that he doesn't! However, in the acoustic version he does play it
towards the end.
The extra space after the Gb (also D* and A) chord has nothing to do with the way it's played, I just couldn't
fit the letters above it without the space!
Please note some chords are not referred to by their actual chord name, I have given them a random name
to make it easier. (i.e. G5, G5*, D*, A*) A* isn't even a chord it's just a single note. And A*/D* just means
slide from the 7th to 4th fret.

Chorus
In the chorus, one guitar plays the chords D and G5 only, and a second guitar adds a little riff
with the A on the high e string. However, I like the way it sounds so much so, I came up with a way
to incorporate it for you guys!

[Play intro twice before lyrics come in]

Bm A Gb G
Late like the evening sun, I

Bm A Gb G
    I sink to the ground.

Bm A Gb G
But I'll keep my promises, I

Bm A Gb G
    I won't let you down.

D G5 G5*
'Cause like a rabbit in your headlights

D G5 G5*
I am the beckon to your call.

D G5 G5*
And like the early morning headlines,

     Bm A G Gb G
I am all too predictable.

 A Bm A G Gb D*
I am all too predictable.

D* A* A* A*/D*
    (Oh oh oh-oh.)
I'm not lazy the rest is just the exact same as before there are
no different parts except for this one:

Bm A Gb G
You're steady as I come undone, you

Bm A Gb G Gb G A G A
You're quietly bow ow ow ow ound.
