Spanish Ballad Part I

Someone out there requested this so here it is. This is my first
TAB, so I'm not to sure I got the timing right. The notes _are_ though.
Here's the sybols I used:

H - indicates hammering a note
- note to hammer to
/ - a slide
= - let ring
*<letter> - Certain parts of this song need written explianation,
you can find these explianations at the end. The * shows which
measures, and the letter shows which explaination you should
look at.

*A- When you hit the 12th fret, do it with your pinky. This allows you to
get to the note quickly enough so that there's no gap. It also sets you
up for part *B.

*B- Go from the 12th fret to the 10th and then the 8th with your pinky still
and you will find that you can just lay your index finger over the e b
and g strings easily on the 5th fret. Keep your index there until *C.

*C- Here you arpeggiate the chord (7xx877) and add the 8th fret and 11th fret
notes on the e string with you ring and index finger (respectively).
This will be a little tricky at first, but sounds great once you get it.
I don't know the name of the chord, but I think its a B.
Do this chord by barring the 7th fret with your index and getting the
8th fret with your middle. That way, you have your ring and pinky left
so that you can do the reeeeach.

*D- Here you use a B7 chord (x21202) and just move your pinky up one fret
then back down in the second measure. Play the chord like this:
x 2 1 2 0 2
m i r p
where m is for your middle finger, i for your index, and p for your pinky.

This song was TABed out by Steve Cronburg and he would greatly appreciate
any corrections for typos and such. If you're going to copy this to someone,
he would really like it if you kept his name in here.

He can be reached at moonunit@cruzio.com until Jan. 15th.
