Hangar 18, one of my personal favorites, is an interesting song-not to mention
complex. This "composition" has some of Dave and Marty's best stuff, since
there are 11 solos in this song. The into is based around the four chords Dm,
Bb, B°, and C (Regonize it from "The Call of Ktulu"?) Use all downstrokes for the beginning.
It's an awesome song, and this has all the song tabbed out, yay! See the bottom
of the page for the complete song layout. Anyways, here is Hangar 18...

Ok, here is the first of the many solos. Marty plays the lead (top), while Dave plays the
rhythm (bottom)-A little note about how Marty plays the first part of this solo- He bends the
string up to an e note (17th fret on the b string), then he hammers onto the 16th fret while
still holding the e note. Then, gradually release the bend while still fretting the 16th fret.
After the first four measures, Marty ends the solo and plays a harmony
consisting of all octaves. Then, he goes back into another solo, plays the harmony
part again, and then they both go into a fast harmony fill.
