So this is something I figured out while watching a video of the Larry Arms playing it.
quite literally, said, "Herp Derp, I know what they're playing." and decided to write it
down for you everyone. This is my First Tab/Chords for a song and I realize that this
be somewhat wrong. Some of the chords might not be in the right spots but just listen
it and I think they transitions will be obvious.

Also, during the bridge, Chris switches to power chords and palm mutes. It might sound
but I'm pretty sure its right.

Chapter 13: A Hero Appears
by The Lawrence Arms

Am C
The well went dry
F G
My blood thinned out

I scrapped through
Am C
A thousand layers
          F G
Of paint-like years
Am C
The secret's in
F G
Congested grins sigh
Am C F G
I'm trying to find places to breathe now

C F
And if this were a book
      C F
I'd call this song the final chapter
Am G
And if you read it
               F
You'd be laughin'
C G F
If it could end right now
C G F
The last lines would be

Am C F
My body jolted in
            G
And out of stolen sound waves
Am C F
The world expands or shrinks
         G
On any given Monday
Am C F G
Tuesday evening dyes a room blue
Am C F G
Friday's window has it's own view

C F
And if this were a book
      C F
I'd call this song the final chapter
Am G
And if you read it
               F
You'd be laughin'
C G F
If it could end right now
C G F
The last lines would be

C
Good friend,
G Am F C G Am F
How loud do you want life to shout her answers in your ear?

Am C F
She lights her streaming by on stiff necks
Am C F
Connected prayers used to sign off things
G5 A5
Keep on counting them
C5 G5
Or maybe hold your breath
G5 A5 C5
I'm trying to exhale you softly
G5 A5
Don't be so vein
C5
I'm not impressed in past-tense
G5 A5 C5
I don't do impressions

C G F
The blood has dried (Good friend, how loud do)
C G F
Now I can wash my hands with tears you cried (Want life to shout her)
C G F
If you could frame this feeling (Good friend, how loud do)
C G F
At night it would whisper to me
C
Good friend,
G Am F C G Am F
How loud do you want life to shout her answers in your ear? [2x]
