 Braving harsh winters, best it (D) could
(D) Now the wind blows by (D7) not leaving a (G) trace
(A) Another memory gone from the old home (D) place

(D)Now the kid is an old man livin in (A)town
  And regrets so much that he tore the barn (D) down
