There are several that I can recall

Rocky Ridges in mile high Colorado

But those in Lake Fork Township, best of all

I've seen Louisiana swamps, and her rice paddies of blue
The oil wells, sawmills of East Texas in the fall
Kansas, Wyoming, Idaho and Montana too
But those in Lake Fork Township best of all

Recalling those fence rows near-by
May have escaped me as a boy, after all
The great Smokies in the Appalachia in the East
But those in Lake Fork Township, best of all

North and South fork of old Salt Creek
Banks of wildflowers in the spring
Hedge apples, thorny locust, Kentucky Coffeetree 
Those fence rows close to home, comfort me.
