Cold As Stone Ukulele

(ver. 1)
Lady Antebellum
Azncocoluver did a great job with this song. Just a couple changes I think make it sound
even better.
CHANGE: thanks to Gunavard13 ive made some changes to the intro.
also you can play Am7 instead of a Am and a Fmaj7 instead of F. i play with a Am and F
but you can do whatever sound better to you.

Capo 1

F G C
She left town early on a Friday.
F G Am
Headin' down to family in New Orleans.
           F G
Said she needed to feel the sun on her face.
C Am G F
Talk it out with herself, try to get things straight.
       Am G F
Lord, all I know is I don't wanna breathe.

            Am G C
Wish I was cold as stone,
                 Am G C
Then I wouldn't feel a thing.
               Am G C
Wish I didn't have this heart,
         G C
Then I wouldn't know the sting of the rain.
              Am G C
I could stand strong and still,
             Am G C
Watching you walk away.
           Dm
I wouldn't hurt like this,
   Am G
Or feel so all alone.

I wish I was cold as stone.

F G C
Almost turned around in Mississippi.
        F G Am
Pulled over on the shoulder along the way.
F G
Thought by now I'd be fine,
    C Am G F
But all these tears are blurring every line,
             G
And I think back to when you were mine.

            Am G C
Wish I was cold as stone,
                 Am G C
Then I wouldn't feel a thing.
               Am G C
Wish I didn't have this heart,
         G C
Then I wouldn't know the sting of the rain.
              Am G C
I could stand on my own,
             Am G C
Letting your memory fade.
           Dm
I wouldn't hurt like this,
   Am G
Or feel so all alone.

I wish I was cold as stone.
