Reminders Of Then Chords

(ver. 1)
Kimya Dawson
Hey Guys; I've had My guitar for three weeks yesterday, and before I got it I knew
enough to figure out the chords (for this song anyway) Myself! I'm so proud, and I
hope it's correct. It's a Beautiful song, especially in the "opera"-mode :-) Go Kimya!

I can't seem to figure out how to put the chords above the lyrics, so I hope someone
can post a better one soon, or help me to fix it (it looks all right when I edit the
but when I post it - Zwoop - and all the Cs and Gs move together again.)

Capo on 4th or 5th fret (Kimya uses 5th)

The verses are just G C G C etc. and the intro too. Like this:

G C G C
Ask me out

G C G C
Take me over

G C G C
Walk around

G C (and so on...)
Meet my mother
Take me down
To the cellar
All around
I see
Reminders Of then

Em D G
Why am I surprised?

C Em
Lies and bullsh*t

D Em
And bullsh*t and lies

Em
You'd think I'd give up

D G
After so many tries

C Em
But my finger's on the trigger

D Em
And my eyes are on the prize

C Em C Em C Em C

G C G C (etc)

Somersault
To september
Hope I last
Til november
Birthday boys
Don't remember
All around
I see
Reminders
Of then

Why am I surprised?
Lies and bullsh*t
And bullsh*t and lies
You'd think I'd give up
After so many tries
But my finger's on the trigger
And my eyes are on the prize

Ask me out
Bowl me over
Watch your back
Meet my brother
All those boyfriends
All those loose ends
In my pretend harem
Of scorpio boys
My pretend harem
Of scorpio boys
My pretend harem
Of scorpio boys
