(ver. 1)

Just some minor corrections/additions to the previous submission of this
song. Added the ending verses/chorus parts, corrected misspelled words and
made some chord placement adjustments. Like all those who contibute to this
site, I did this to help all those beginner country guitar/vocalists wanting
to learn the basics of the song.
Enjoy.....The Patster - guitarist/vocalist with "The Tailpipes" - the best
garage band in Texas.

Song Title: Just Don't Happen Twice

Verse 1:
G Am
I haven’t seen you in forever
C G
Ah you haven’t changed a bit
G Am
You didn’t think that I’d remember
C D
How could I forget

Chorus:
 	    G D
We sang Bobby McGee on the hood of my car
    Am C
Made a wish on every star
G D C
In that clear September sky
 	 G D
One bottle of wine & 2 Dixie cups
Am C
3 A.M. I fell in love
G D C
For the first time in my life
 	  	 Am D G Am
Oh that’s something that just don’t happen twice

Verse 2:
G Am C
To this day I still taste that first kiss
                         G
How I prayed it wouldn’t end
                 Am C
In a way, seeing you like this
                       D
I guess I never really did

Chorus, then short break w/lead followed by:

One bottle of wine & 2 Dixie cups
3 A.M. I fell in love
For the first time in my life
Oh that’s somethin’
Baby that’s somethin’
Oh that’s something that just don’t happen twice

Break

We sang Bobby McGee on the hood my car
Made a wish on every star
One bottle of wine & 2 Dixie cups
Yeah we fell in love (Fade out)
