**My original version had a C after the G during the verses,
but listening to the song with headphones I noticed it sounds more like an
Am of some sort, or it's possible the C being played with an A bass note.
I'm not positive but I changed it to Am7 anyway. If anyone knows where I can
find a video of her singing this live and you can see her guitar player,
post the link in the comments so I can possibly see to be sure...
Or just leave me a comment and let me know which you think sounds better!**

G Am7 x4

G Am7 G Am7
Baby, whatcha doing today
                   G Am7
What are you doing later?
  G Am7
I don't know my way through a maze
        G Am7 Am
Of gray skyscr*pers
                   G Am7 G Am7
But I'm willing to learn

       G Am7 G Am7
If you want me to, I'll stay just where I am
      G Am7 G Am7 Am
But I promise just to follow when I land
                G D
You can take my word for that

C G Am
You are my Manhattan from the sky
    C G D Em
You look so neat and tidy when I'm way up high
      C G Bm Em
But I know your streets are lined with a fine mess inside
       C D G Am7 G Am7
I wanna come down and walk around your mind

G Am7 G Am7
Daisies, once upon an old daydream
                G Am7
That's what you gave me
G Am7 G Am7 Am
Out on the corner of Broadway and 48th street
                G Am7 G Am7
On a rainy afternoon

     G Am7 G Am7
Well I could start discovering your world
    G Am7 G Am7 Am
And I would make a damn good city girl
                      G D
Things would start to bloom, I'm sure

C G Am
You are my Manhattan from the sky
    C G D Em

      C G Bm Em

       C D G Am7 G Am7
I wanna come down and walk around your mind

G
I know you want me to see; don't lie to me
C
So why you gotta go be so shy to me?
G
I ain't buying the false anxiety
 C (D)
 Let your fortress fold

G
What is it gonna take to get you there?
C
If fear was money, you'd be a millionaire
G
All alone in a leather swivel chair
 C (D)
 Counting stacks of gold

      C G Bm Em
But I know your streets are lined with a fine mess inside
       C D
I wanna come down and walk around, oh

I wanna come down and walk around your mind
