Someday He Might Chords

(ver. 1)
John D Hale Band
Hey this is my first tab ever to post, but this song is kick ace, and well I hope it makes
sense. I think that strumming the chords downward about four times for each chord is how it
is played in the chorus. But check out the song and you'll know what I'm talkin' about.

Intro: G, D, Am, C

Verse:
G D Am C
Desperation sinkin' in,
G D Am C
Just seventeen years old all strung out from end to end
G D Am
He needs someone to pick him up, but everyone just puts him
C
down
G D Am
Like a lost gypsy in the night, as he rolls from town to
C G, D, Am, C
town, rolls from town to town

Chorus: G, D, Am, C

Where did he come from, and where will he go

He's been on his own so damn long with no place to call his home

He prays for redemption, He prays he'll see the light

He prays that with this gypsy life, well someday he might

Verse:

He's been on his own so long that he can't remember when

His mamma found a new boy friend, who she thought more of than him

So one night while they slept well, he left and he robbed them blind

He jumped on the first bus West, seein' what he could find, seein' what he could find.

Repeat Chorus:

California is a field of dreams they say

He's been livin' on the streets of Frisco, you can find him there today

He's livin' hand in mouth, and he's takin' it day by day

Just wishin' he could go back home and someday he'll find a way, ya he'll find a way

Repeat Chorus:

Finish with chord progression G, D, Am, C 2x with "Someday He Might"
