I have sussed so far.

The main melody from the intro is played throughout most of the song.

A ukelele enters at approximately 0:30 in the song and plays something similar to this.
It is repeated at each bridge like interval in the song.
Fiddle around with variations in the same key and find something that suits.

For the chorus, the main melody is played but can only be heard faintly.

At the end of the song a simple variation of the main melody is played.
