It was recorded at an MTV acoustic session, and, in my opinion, is very clever. It's impossible to tab the rhythm just right cos it changes every time and really is improvised. The same goes for the solo - just improvise yourself. 

Don't take the tab too literally - just mess around with the chords as he does.
