Insomniac From Green Day Tabbed by.- Daniel (al640757@campus.cegs.itesm.mx)
Well here it's the entire album (all 32 minutes and 55 seconds) with no mistakes, I hope =). I've only put the chords, if anyone thinks a TAB should be made (with rythms, times the chords are played, etc.) just mail me and I'll make it. Well, contrary to what most people think, I think this album is better than "Dookie" ("Dookie" is more comercial), it's better in ... EVERYTHING!!!!! Well, no more words, here it is.
Tune down 1/2 step below standard pitch
Chords.- A (x133xx) or (688xxx) (Is up to you to choose one of the B (x255xx) or (799xxx) formations, the one you feel more C (x355xx) or (8-10-10-xxx) comfortable with) C# (x466xx) D (x577xx) D# (x688xx) E (022xxx) E(type 2) (x799xx) or (0799xxx) The second one I use it when I palm mute that chord, but using only the (0xxxxx)
B(type 2) (xx9-11-12-x) or (x-9-9-11-12-x)
Armatage Shanks ---------------
Intro.- E(type 2)
Verse.- A, D, A, D, F#, D E
Chorus.- D, A, E, A D, A, E(type 2)
Interlude.- A, F#, A, F#, D, E(type2)
Brat ----
Intro.- C, G, D
Verse.- G, C, G, G, C, G, D
Chorus.- C, G, C, C, G, D
Interlude.- G, C, G, E/G, C, G, D
Stuck with me -------------
Intro.- E(type 2), C#, B, A
Verse.- E(type 2), B (sometimes w/palm mute) A, B
Chorus.- C#, A, E(type 2) A, B, E(type 2)
During bass interlude just play with the strings muted.
Geek Stink Breath -----------------
Intro/post chorus.- G, F, C
Verse.- G, F Play w/palm mute, then slide to the next chord (3rd verse without pm)
Chorus.- A, F
No pride --------
Intro/Post chorus.- G#, D#, C#
Verse.- G#, D#, C#, G#
Chorus.- D#, C#, G#, D# G#, C, C#, E(type 2) G#, D#
Bab's Uvula who? ----------------
Intro.- B, A, F#
Verse.- B, B, B, A, E(type2)
Chorus.- B, A, E(type 2)
Last Verse.- B, A, B, A, B, A, E(type 2)
86 --
Intro.- (pick scrape) E(type 2), G#, A
Verse.- E(type 2), B, A, E, A
Pre - chorus.- B, A
Chorus.- E, G#, A
Ending.- B, A
Panic Song ----------
Intro.- B (two times), then.- |--------| |--------| |-----8--| |--9-----| |--------| |--------|
E(type 2), B(type 2) (play several times) Strum a "B" chord then (w/palm muting) strum the higher string several times and fast (7xxxxx) or (2xxxxx), I recomend the first one. Then do the same, but without palm muting; it just sounds a little low (the string, less volume).
Verse.- B, G#, F#
Chorus.- E, B, F#, B, E, B, A, F#
Post Chorus.- B, A, F#
Stuart and the Avenue ---------------------
Intro.- D, A
Verse.- D, E, G, D D, E, G, A
Chorus.- D, B, G D, E, G D, A
Brain Stew ----------
All song.- A, G, F#, F, E
For the harmonic part, make random harmonics from frets 12 to 21 on every string (the bottom ones are the better). For the last part just play the chord and then play the 3 bottom strings open (xxx000)
Jaded -----
Intro/Verse.- A, G, D
Chorus.- D, A, G, A, G D, E
Ending.- A
West Bound Sign --------------- Intro/Chorus.- B, G#, E(type 2)
Verse.- B, F#, G#, E
Interlude.- F#, A, E, B
Tight Wad Hill --------------
Verse.- A, G A, G, A, G, A, G, G
Chorus.- C, G, A
Interlude.- Play the verse part, but mute the strings in one part (you'll notice when you listen to the record, I don't have it here so I don't remember exactly where)
Walking Contradiction ---------------------
Intro.- A (w/palm muting)
Verse.- A, D, G, A
Chorus.- D, G, A
