Christmas At The Zoo Ukulele

(ver. 1)
Flaming Lips

I think these are right... they sound OK to me

On the recording the verses chords are mostly just picked through... This, at
least, appears to be the progression that the lips use use. they might be
using less conventional chords in the verse. But chorus wise, i think they
are just power chords. Either way. this seems to be their progression. feel

intro seems to just be lingering on the E

Verse:

E
Their wasn't any snow on Christmas eve
  C#m
and I knew what I should do,
  A E
I thought I'd free the animals
    F#m B
all locked up at the zoo

I opened up the fence where the peacocks were,
the lamas were unleashed
the snakes and seals could all get out,
but they Refused to leave....

(on B they build up using octave intervals)

Chorus:

E
All of the animals agreed they're not
A
happy at the zoos
    C#m G#m A E
But they preferred to save themselves,
      F#m B
they seemed to think they could...

The elephants, orangutans,
all the birds and kangaroos
all said thanks but no thanks man,
but to be concerned is good...

instrumental: same as verse
| E | C#m | A E | F#m B |

Chorus:
It started to snow on Christmas Eve in the
middle of the night
walking through the state park zoo
and everything is white...

| E | A | C#m G#m A E | F#m B | E
