King Of The Hill Tabs

(ver. 1)
Five Pointe O

the tuning is dropped C style (C-G-C-F-A-D).

this tab is 100% correct and complete.

two things on this first part. two guitars play this
intro, one plays the palm muted open chords, and the
other plays the high notes. after playing through this
two times, the second guitar begins to play the palm
muted notes too, while at the same time the drums come
in. but that's way more info than you cared to know.

ok, guitar one plays this, while guitar 2 plays the
riff below underneath it. let the last 12 in this note ring
a bit longer than the other ones.

for the chorus both guitars play the same
riff using the first three notes but guitar one
hits the last note once then holds it while..

the next few minutes is just repeating the chords
already used above. here's when it changes.

this open note is played slow from about [2:49]
until about [3:03], then it just speeds up some while
the second guitar plays what's below. you might notice
that it sounds like this muted part is decending too,
but it's not, it's sort of an ear trick. play along with
the cd and you'll see what i'm talking about.

this part is sort of tricky to play. if you have too
much trouble playing it this way, you could just leave
the 6th fret on the F string out and just keep hitting
the 7th fret on the C string after decending each time,
it's much easier that way and it sounds about the same.

this is played a couple times, sometimes they add the extra
10 note at the end, sometimes not.. just listen to the song.
