Over Tabs

(ver. 1)
Embrace
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Tuning: Standard

Track 1 from If You've Never Been album - as usual I'm not really good enough
to work out the exact strumming that Danny McNamara uses, but these are
definitely the correct chords to hit so you can get the strumming and timing for
the intro lead by listening to the CD.

Intro - there's some wierd synthesised stuff in the background to this for the
first bit, but if you don't have a synth you can just play the second guitar part
instead...on the cd the intro is nearly a minute but I can only be bothered
playing it twice, so that's all I tabbed ;)

Rhythm;
e|--0--3--0---3--1--0---||
B|--1--3--1---3--1--1---||
G|--0--0--2---0--2--2---||
D|--2--0--2---0--3--2---||
A|--3--2--0---2--1--0---||
E|--0--3--0---3--1--0---||
    C  G  Am  G  F  Am

This repeats along through the intro from the second repeat,
over the synth and under the Lead.

Lead;
e|-0-1-3-3-0------||
B|-----------3-1--||
G|----------------||
D|----------------||
A|----------------||
E|----------------||

This repeats over the top of the Rhythm chord progression...you can just about
play both one one guitar if you can move your little pinky fast enough but I'm
way too slow ;)

Verse 1;

e|--0--3--0---3--1--0---||
B|--1--3--1---3--1--1---||
G|--0--0--2---0--2--2---||
D|--2--0--2---0--3--2---||
A|--3--2--0---2--1--0---||
E|--0--3--0---3--1--0---||
    C  G  Am  G  F  Am

You drag yourself over the coals, I know you're sorry to go
But when all you can do is say so, I know it's over

I won't waste one more hour of my life, I know some people would cry
It's funny that none spring to mind now that it's over

Chorus 1;

e|--3--1--0---3--1--0---3--1--0---|
B|--3--1--1---3--1--1---3--1--1---|
G|--0--2--2---0--2--2---0--2--2---|
D|--0--3--2---0--3--2---0--3--2---|
A|--2--1--0---2--1--0---2--1--0---|
E|--3--1--0---3--1--0---3--1--0---|
    G  F  Am  G  F  Am  G  F  Am

But I know that this feeling won't last
I know that this feeling won't last

Bridge/solo 1; - I can't tab solos but at least part of
it is just the intro lead bit!

e|--0---0---1--0---|
B|--1---1---1--1---|
G|--0---2---2--0---|
D|--2---2---3--2---|
A|--3---0---1--3---|
E|--0---0---1--0---|
    C   Am  F  C

Verse 2;

e|--0--3--0---3--1--0---||
B|--1--3--1---3--1--1---||
G|--0--0--2---0--2--2---||
D|--2--0--2---0--3--2---||
A|--3--2--0---2--1--0---||
E|--0--3--0---3--1--0---||
    C  G  Am  G  F  Am

Time after time after time, there's never reason in your rhyme
I'm just trying to feel one last goodbye now that it's over

And I'd shake some sense into us both, I was the last one you told
Why does no-one say sh*t till it shows? Now that it's over

Chorus 2;

e|--3--1--0---3--1--0---3--1--0---|
B|--3--1--1---3--1--1---3--1--1---|
G|--0--2--2---0--2--2---0--2--2---|
D|--0--3--2---0--3--2---0--3--2---|
A|--2--1--0---2--1--0---2--1--0---|
E|--3--1--0---3--1--0---3--1--0---|
    G  F  Am  G  F  Am  G  F  Am

But I know that this feeling won't last
I know that this feeling won't last

Bridge/solo 2;

e|--0---0---1--0---|
B|--1---1---1--1---|
G|--0---2---2--0---|
D|--2---2---3--2---|
A|--3---0---1--3---|
E|--0---0---1--0---|
    C   Am  F  C

Pre-outro;

e|--1--0--1--0--3--1--|
B|--1--1--1--1--3--1--|
G|--2--0--2--0--0--2--|
D|--3--2--3--2--0--3--|
A|--1--3--1--3--2--1--|
E|--1--0--1--0--3--1--|
    F  C  F  C  G  F

The sun, it shines on me
So I tell myself for a hope in this hell
That I should stay right down here
Where I fell

Outro; Just repeat chords for the intro, in the actual recording theres some
la-la-la going on but I don't think I really need to tab those out ;)

Cheers folks, rest of the album to follow shortly! Email me if you want any of
them, only 2 or 3 left to finish off....
