The First Star Ukulele

(ver. 1)
Eddplant
This is one of my favourite songs by Eddplant. I couldn't find the chords for this song,
I thought I'd figure them out by myself. And Cadd9 is optional. It just sounds good, anyway

Capo 4th! If you haven't got a capo, traspose the chords, like this:

G = A
D = E
Em = F#m
C = D

Intro: G, D, Em, D, C

G
Do you remember
D
That cold november night
Em              D, C
I held you close
G
Evenings in revelry grow old,
D
but your words forever soothe me
Em                               D
Is it you that's making this hard?
                       C
I can't imagine moving on

G           D
Star light, star bright
Em                  D
The first star you see tonight
C
may not be a star
                                G
And wishing never gets you that far

*Intro Twice*
(=G, D, Em, D, C, G, D, Em, D, C)

G
It's not a matter of
           D
“who loves who”,

I think we're both agreed
     Em                    D, C
that love's not on the cards
G
We're talking chemistry
    D
and open-ended conversations
Em                         D
I never promised myself to you
               Em
But I wish you would

D, C, Cadd9, Em, D, C, Cadd9

*CHORUS*

*Instrumental chorus with same chords, Cadd9 in the end*
(= G, D, Em, D, C, G, D, Em, D, C, Cadd9)

G           D
Star light, star bright
Em                 D
The first star you see tonight
C
may not be a star G
And wishing never gets you that far
          D                   Em
But if it could, you know I would
         C
wish for you
                  D             G
And wish that you'd wish for me too
