To be precise, the D is played with 5 simultaneous up/down strokes and the E with just 1 stroke.

I've transcribed this using an acoustic guitar so I understand that this isn't perfect, 
however as there was no good intro put up yet I thought this might help. Maybe it'll 
sound better on an electric guitar as it is actually played on an electric one.
