Let It Go Tabs

(ver. 2)
Demi Lovato
[Let It Go by Demi Lovato]

Chords by melanderisak

Standard E Tuning

Chords:
       G Dsus4 Em7 Cadd2 Am C Em D
E|-----3-----3-----3-----3-----0----0----0----2-|
B|-----3-----3-----3-----3-----1----1----0----3-|
G|-----0-----2-----0-----0-----2----0----0----2-|
D|-----0-----0-----2-----2-----2----2----2----0-|
A|-----2----(0)----2-----3-----0----3----2---(0)|
E|-----3-----x-----0-----x-----x----x----0----x-|

(0) = This note in the D chords does work, it just make it sounds more like a D/A. But
you may strum it if you know.
x = Don't play / mute if possible
G chord = You can do the G accord with the B string on the 3 fret or on the 0 fret. Both
works. But for this song use 3 fret. It sounds the best and is easier.
I always prefer this version of all songs I play.

[Intro - 1 Strum per beat]
(This part is piano played in the song, but this works fine if you only have a Guitar)

[Verse - Strum Palm Muted] (Technically no guitar play here in the song.)
(But here are the chords either way)
Example on how you can play this:
PM PM PM PM PM PM PM PM PM PM PM PM PM PM PM PM PM
E|-------------------------------------------------------------------|
B|-----------------1-1-1-1-1-1-1-1-3-3-3-3-3-3-3-3-3-1-1-1-1-1-1-1-1-|

Em C D Am
It's funny how some distance makes everything seem small
Em C D Am
And the fears that once controlled me can't get to me at all
Em C D Am
Up here in the cold thin air I finally can breathe
Em D
I know I left a life behind but I'm too relieved to greive

[Chorus - Strum]

       G Dsus4
Let it go, let it go
      Em7 Cadd2
Can't hold it back anymore
       G Dsus4
Let it go, let it go
        Em7 Cadd2
Turn my back and slam the door
    G Dsus4
And here I stand
    Em7 Cadd2
And here I'll stay
       G Dsus4
Let it go, let it go
    Cadd2 Cadd2
The cold never bothered me anyway

[Bridge - Strum]
G Dsus4 Em7 Cadd2
Standing - frozen in the life I've chosen
G Dsus4 Em7 Cadd2
You won't find me, the past is all behind me
G Dsus4 Em7 Cadd2
Buried in the snow

[Chorus/Outro - Silent, 1 strum]
(Techincally in the song piano plays once for every accord, and guitar jumps in with 1
strum of the last one, Cadd2. But you can take over the Piano part if you like)
There is one tricky part here that I kinda figured out.
The bass goes a different pattern at one part of the song here.
I marked the bass, but playing the whole chord with these might sound weird.
So here I will show how I recommend you to play the chords
You will haft to use a free finger to mute the other strings

Chords:
      G Dsus4/F Em7 Cadd2/Eb
E|----3-----3-----3-----3----|
B|----3-----3-----3-----3----|
G|----0-----0-----0-----0----|
D|----x-----x-----x-----1----|
A|----x-----x-----x-----x----|
E|----3-----1-----0-----x----|
I actually have no idea what the real chords are at this part. I think it's actually
just G, G/F, G/E, G/Eb. But it sounds cr*p if you only play G G G G with a guitar, you need
to have the bass. Feel free to write a comment about it if you know.

       G Dsus4
Let it go, let it go
      Em7 Cadd2
Can't hold it back anymore
       G Dsus4
Let it go, let it go
        Em7 Cadd2
Turn my back and slam the door
      G Dsus4/F
And here I stand
      Em7 Cadd2/Eb
And here I'll stay
       G Dsus4
Let it go, let it go
    Em7 Cadd2
The cold never bothered me anyway~~!!!!

(Continue with G, Dsus4, Em7, Cadd2 until song )

Let it go
And here I'll stay
Let it go, let it go
Oooooh let it go
