Death Cab For Cutie
Death Cab for Cutie - My Mirror Speaks

This is my first posted tab and the first attempt at this song so it's
open for suggestions, it's a rough draft.

Ben uses a B at the end of the verse progression as a transition back to
C#m. So sometimes the E is played for only half the time with the B. You just
have to listen and you'll see what I mean.

VERSE

C#m E(and E riff)
With every sun that sets I am feeling more

A E B (transition)
like a stranger on a foreign shore

Repeat..

The first E riff (something like this)
e|---------------------------------|
B|---------------------------------|
G|---------4-----------4-----------|
D|----2-4s6--6p4-7-7-7--6---4------|
A|---4-------------------------2h4-|
E|--0------------------------------|

Chorus
_____________________

A E
Cause I'm a man who hides from all that binds

A E
In a mess of fading lines

	      A E
And there's a tangled thread inside my head

      G# A transition B
with nothing on either end

The jist of the solo (but it's strummed, I don't know the exact

B B B - A - E E E - A - B B B - A - E E E

B A E A
A new position for a different view

B A E A

B A E A B
and I am standing face to face
