L's Song Ukulele

(ver. 1)
David Gray

These chords are incorrect. Please DO NOT rate or comment on this. I am working on
an update for this song with the correct chords.

I will post the update ASAP.

-----------------------------------------------------------------

This is one of David Gray's oldest song and, im my opinnion, one of his most
beautiful. It used to be called Lara's Song but then in 1993-94 he shortened it to
just L's Song. L's Song can be found on The EP's 92-94 record which was released
in 2001 by David Gray's old record company.

At the end of the tab I will put a couple thing that is needed to be known to play this correctly.

L's Song

  E* A* E*
A*
I love you nervouse finger, wont you fumble all night long
        E* A* E* A*
Let the morning air sting us to rise and stumble on
    E* A*
  A*
And down the crooked pavement the wind blows my thoughts like a leaf
    E* A* E*
  A*
The brittle bells chimes and fortune smiles with its broken teeth

        B C#m
And the many rivered lands,
A B*
Grateful for the rain.
                       C#m A
Id be grateful for one morsel
        E* A* E* A*
Of your lovin again.

E* A* E* A*
Summer, restless summer wont let sleepin dogs lie
     E* A* E* A*
Your barbed voice reawakens time gone by
E* A* E*
          A*
Owls face, fine bones, parched land, dry stone. Thunders muttered promise
          E* A*
Impatient gull on the scented wind, your grey eyes startling;
E* A*
rain nearly upon us

        B C#m
And the many rivered lands,
A B*
Grateful for the rain.
                       C#m A
Id be grateful for one morsel
        E* A* E* A*
Of your lovin again.

A/F# E A/F# E

        B C#m
And the many rivered lands,
A B*
Grateful for the rain.
      B* C#m A
Id be grateful for one morsel
      B* C#m A
Id be grateful for one morsel
      B* C#m A
Id be grateful for one morsel
        E* A* E* A*
Of your lovin again.

E* A* E* A* E*

The A* chord (x.0.9.9.9h10.9) is played by hammering on the B string on the 10th
fret as as you finish you first down strum on the chord. So its like this

x.0.9.9.9.9   ->   x.0.9.9.10.9

Also, the C#m to A is Fairly quick. Listen to the song to get it down.
