Gutters Full Of Rain Chords

(ver. 2)
David Gray
Hammer on the A string while your in the G, just before you switch to the Cadd9. Pull
on the D string towards the end of the Cadd9. Listen to the song for exact timing on the
ons and pull offs, I didn't feel like tabbing it out, because listening to the song will
you a much better idea of how it goes. Also during the Am in the chorus I pluck the B
it adds a little to it if you can get the timing down, sounds good either way. This is
first chord/tab, so rate it, or leave comments if you think there is something here thats
Thanks and happy picking.

G Cadd9 G Cadd9 G Cadd9
D G
  G Cadd9
A gutter full of rain
  G Cadd9
an empty picture frame
  G Cadd9 D G
a house out at the edges of the city
      G Cadd8

'til it's right there at your door
      G Cadd9 D G
and suddenly your hands are bloody

    D Cadd9
the bitterness is tasted
  G Cadd9
there's nobody in your chair

Let it go now
	Am C
Let it all slip away

and we'll start it all over again
D Am
Me like a million others before
C G
trying to make sense of the rain
           G C
Were these twenty years a dream
        G C
was it ever as it seemed
        G Cadd9 D G
get to wonder if it really existed
          G Cadd9
cause the thief who stole my life

Let it go now
       Am
Let it all slip away
C G
and we'll start it all over again
D
Me like a million
  Am
others before
C G
trying to make sense of the rain
    G Cadd9
In spite of all the shame
   G Cadd9
some times I hear your name
  G Cadd9 D G
I think of us when we were younger
        G Cadd9
then I'm shutting out the noise
        G Cadd9
and I'm trying to hear the voice
     G Cadd9 D G
that used to tell me love was stronger
       G Cadd9
Light another cigarette
        G Cadd9
but the one I got's still lit
   G Cadd9 D G
I can't seem to keep my fingers steady
     G Cadd9
Never noticing the war
          G Cadd9
'til it's right there at your door
      G Cadd9 D G
and suddenly your hands are bloody.
