This a correction of previous tablatures of this groove. I found
that those posted before were very inaccurate. The trick to playing
this groove, and all funk slap lines, is the constant 16th note
pattern played by the drummer on the hi-hat. every bass player new
to the slap technique should keep that in mind.

The first part is very easy, an Emaj double stop, no big deal. then
the thumb comes in slapping the open E. now, keeping the 16th pattern
in mind, he clicks the E string then slaps the A and hammers a C#.
the click gives your thumb some time to switch strings. after the
hammer-on, there are 3 muted "ghost notes". i had a hard time
showing this, but the concept is this: mute all the strings with
your left hand, then simply slap, pop, then slap. it gives a more
purcussive feel. then the rest is a popped hammer-on, then two
pops. very simple. practice this one slow. it took me awhile to
retrain my right hand into the pattern thats required. but once
its learned, its a great groove to bust out at a jam session
and very funky to improvise over. any questions about this,
