Notes: This was written on the 3 Snakes Fall Tour, originating as an instrumental jam on
10/2/96 in Kansas City. Throughout October and into November it was played as an intro
to My Morning Song, Thorn In My Pride and Bring On, Bring On. It was recorded at Sound 
Of Music Studios in Richmond, VA on 11/21/96 and debuted with lyrics on 11/23/96 in
Charlotte. The studio recording is played with acoustic guitars, similar to the 
arrangement that the band played at The Garage on 2/22/97.

It was often played live on the Europe 97' and Furthur Tours and appeared on early
band-only cassettes of Band, but did not appear on the version of the album submitted to
their record company at the time. Like the other Sound Of Music recordings, the studio 
recording of Spider In The Sugar Bowl Blues does not circulate in trading circles.
