Travelling Man Chords

(ver. 1)
Bert Jansch
I first heard this song yesterday, and I loved it so much I had to learn it.
So I did, then I put it up here. It probably isn't perfect, but it sounds good enough to me.

The strumming pattern is pretty simple, you should be able to figure something out

Intro:
  D Em G D x2
  A A7sus2

First verse:

        D Em
  I'm a travelling man a-moving
      F#m G
You name it I've been there
A G/B A Em7
And night and day I strive to sell my wares, now...

      D Em
Got nothing I can show you
F#m G
  And nothing you can wear
A G/B A Em7
But hang around a while and lend an ear, now...

        Bm F#m
  While travellin' on a freight-train
         G A
  On the Rocky Island line
     Bm F#m
My young love said to me
     G A
  My mother she don't mind

          Em F#m
Through twelve gates of the city
    G A7
  I came into my prime
        D Em G D
I was singing songs of wild mountain thyme

Repeat intro:
  D Em G D

Second verse:

  D Em
  Sing little birdie
           F#m G
  From the greenwood side-e-o
            A G/B A Em7
Where the trees they do grow high, come say hello, now...

  D Em
  Summer is a-coming
          F#m G
And I'm standing on the shore
A G/B A Em7
And where I'm bound, oh Lord I can't be sure, now...

           Bm F#m
  From the Arizona dustbowl
      G A
  Out to Van Diemons land
         Bm F#m
  To the North-West Passage snowbound
             G A
Where Lord Franklin made his stand

        Em F#m
  While high above I'm singing
          G A7
With my guitar in my hand
          D Em G D
And I'm thinking about one tiny grain of sand

Repeat intro:
  D Em G D

Third verse:

     D Em
  If anyone should ask me
       F#m G
If I be a rambling boy
A G/B A Em7
The sporting life I know I have enjoyed

        D Em
  Met a lady from Louisville
    F#m G
  A-pleasing to my mind
      A G/B A Em7
She took my hand and said, would you please be kind

               Bm F#m
And from the foggy dew I stumbled
    G A
  Into a shady grove
            Bm F#m
Where the redbird sang his sweet song
     G A
  He sang of careless love
          Em F#m
And the bells of Rhymney ringing out
      G A7
  And brought the people round
         D Em G D
Saying welcome to your friendly travelling man
D Em G D
Welcome to your friendly travelling man

Outro:
  D Em G D
  A A D

A great song by a great artist! Seeing as I like this guy quite a lot, more Bert
Jansch tunes might come up in the future.
