TUNING: B E A D G (Standard)

Nothing real fancy here, but I recommend playing with the song to get the timings and rhythm down.

INTRO - No bass, although if you feel like playing here, play the Verse 2 riff.

VERSE 1 - Come in on "On their own, on the run..."

G|-------------------------------------------------|
D|-------------------------------------------------|
A|0/12-12-12-12-12-12-12-12-15-15-15-15-15-15-15-15|

E|-13-13-13-13-13-13-13-13-13-13-13-13-13-13-13-13-|
B|-------------------------------------------------|

Repeat once, without the slide at the beginning.

PRECHORUS 1 - I like to transition to the Prechorus by sliding down from the last verse F note.

(Play as quarter notes.)
G|-----------------------------------------------------|
D|-----------------------------------------------------|
A|-----------------0-0-0-0-----------------------------|
E|-3-3-3-3-3-3-3-3---------1-1-1-1---------1-1-1-1-3~~~|
B|---------------------------------3-3-3-3-------------|

CHORUS 1 - Truly the most complicated chorus EVER. XD

G|---------------------------------|
D|---------------------------------|
A|-3-3-3-3-3-3-3-3-----------------|
E|-----------------1-1-1-1-1-1-1-1-|
B|---------------------------------|

Repeat x4

VERSE 2 - Not sure if this rhythm is exactly right, see what you think.

G|---------------------------------|
D|---------------------------------|
A|-0-0--0-3-3--3-------------------|
E|---------------1-1--1-1--1-1--1-1|
B|---------------------------------|

PRECHORUS 2

(Play as quarter notes.)
G|-------------------------------------|
D|-------------------------------------|
A|-----------------0-0-0-0-------------|
E|-3-3-3-3-3-3-3-3---------1-1-1-1-3~~~|
B|-------------------------------------|

CHORUS 2
                                  x4
G|---------------------------------|-----------------|
D|---------------------------------|-----------------|
A|-3-3-3-3-3-3-3-3-----------------|-3-3-3-3-3-3-3-3-|
E|-----------------1-1-1-1-1-1-1-1-|-----------------|
B|---------------------------------|-----------------|

BRIDGE - No bass, not a good call by Audio Adrenaline, IMHO. However, here's something you can do.
Come in on "If not us, tell me who will be..."

G|------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------|
D|------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------|
A|-----------------0-0-0-0-0-0-0-0----------------------------------------------------------------|
E|---------------------------------3-3-3-3-3-3-3-3-3-3-3-3-3-3-3-3-3-3-3-3-3-3-3-3-3-3-3-3-3-3-3-3|
B|-3-3-3-3-3-3-3-3--------------------------------------------------------------------------------|

Stop the last note right on the snare drum hit.

CHORUS 3 - Goes acapella, then after "When we love the least of these." everything jumps back in.

G|-----------------------------|-------------------------------------------------|
D|-----------------------------|-------------------------------------------------|
A|-----------------------------|-3-3-3-3-3-3-3-3-----------------3-3-3-3-3-3-3-3-|
E|-1-1-1-3-3-3-5-5-5-7-7-7-8---|-----------------1-1-1-1-1-1-1-1-----------------|
B|-----------------------------|-------------------------------------------------|

Repeat x2, then end on this.

G|-----------------------------|
D|-----------------------------|
A|--------------------------3~~|
E|-1-1-1-3-3-3-5-5-5-7-7-7-8---|
B|-----------------------------|

END

PERFORMANCE NOTES

TUNING - You may find it easier to play this song with the E string tuned up to F. If you do that,
just move all E string notes down a half-step, or one fret.

PRECHORUSES - Just to clarify things, VERSE 1 is played with all notes being eighth notes, while
both PRECHROUS 1 & 2 are played with all notes being quarter notes to save space.
If you listen to the song, you will see what I'm talking about.

CHORUS 3 - This chorus makes things fancier by adding a scale to the beginning of each repetition,
which builds from F up to C on the E string. Since the next note is C on the A string, you
can just stay on the E String and move back down to F from there. Then when you go back to
C, you can jump to the A string if you want to. I personally think it sounds similar
enough that it doesn't really matter, except on the final ending C that you have to hold for
awhile. For that, I recommend playing the C on the A string, as the sound decays at a
slower rate than C on the E string.
