I was fed up with seeing tabs of this song on bass where you
 started off at the A# (1st fret) on the a string and you 
slide all the way down to the 17th fret. It just didn’t make 
any sense. Most of this tab is actually copied off the guitar 
part of this song and basically follows the rhythm of the guitar. 
I play in a band where we cover this song so I transcribed a 
lot of the synth tracks onto bass and I use some strumming during
 the pre-chorus. I can guarantee you 100% that Matt Wachter does
 NOT play this exactly how I do but this is how I play it so
 

Tuning: Standard

Intro: 0:00 - 0:31 (not played on bass but is some keyboard
 thing I believe, listen for timing and changes in notes) 0:00 - 0:31

For the pre-chorus I just do up and down strumming on the D 
and G on their respective notes and I don’t play the A and E 
strings. Consistent 8th notes if you will. In essence I follow
 the guitar to this part of the song which looks very similar
 to how i see the guitar is played in guitar tabs for this song
 that I’ve seen. Switch ‘chords’ when you hear the guitar change
 chords in the background:

Notes for the chorus everytime it sounds like Tom kinda

 I don’t know why. But AVA decided here to have a pre 
pre-chorus to the pre-chorus. It doesn’t make much sense
 and all you really do is just strum up and down on the bottom 
two strings

The Chorus is repeated throughtout the rest of the song 
but there is a part where only the drums are playing so 
just clap to follow along with the beat. Just listen and 
you’ll know when to clap.
