Leather Chords

(ver. 1)
Amos Tori
Leather
off of Little Earthquakes

Chords for the piano intro/verse are offered in the LE songbook.
This is the heavily distorted electric guitar part that goes with
them.

   guitar 1(heavy distortion)-

I could just pre - tend that you love me The night
   E-----------------------------------------------------------|
   B-----------------------------------------------------------|
   G-----------------------------------------------------------|
   D-----------------------------------------------------------|
   A--3--------2-----------1-------------0---------------------|
   E-----------------------------------------------------4-----|

would lose all sense of fear But why do I
   E-----------------------------------------------------------|
   B-----------------------------------------------------------|
   G-----------------------------------------------------------|
   D-------------------------------0---------------------------|
   A----------------------------------2--------------------2---|
   E---------3---------2-----------------3-1----3--------------|

need you to love me when you can't hold
   E-----------------------------------------------------------|
   B-----------------------------------------------------------|
   G-----------------------------------------------------------|
   D-----------------------------------------------------------|
   A---1-----------h3p0----------------------------------------|
   E--------------------------------4-----------3--------------|

It sounds to me like there are two guitars during the end of this
part but I only transcribed the lower one. Let me know if you figure
out the higher.

The guitar part during the piano solo is similar to the above.

I'm not exactly sure about this next part. It could be this:

    an angel
   E---------------------|
   B---------------------|
   G---------------------|
   D----------3----------|
   A------------6-3------|
   E----------------5----|

Or maybe one of these:

   E---------------|----------------|
   B---------------|----------------|
   G---------------|----------------|
   D---3-----------|--3--1----------|
   A------6--3--0--|--------3--0----|
   E---------------|----------------|

They're all essentially the same so just play whichever one you like
best. Afterwards the guitar picks up around "fear" in the above.

Oh God could it be the weather
   E-----------------------------------------------------------|
   B-----------------------------------------------------------|
   G-----------------------------------------------------------|
   D-----------------------------------------------------------|
   A---6----------------------------------6-\13-/(6)-6---------|
   E-----------------------------------------------------------|

This next part goes overtop of the above eventually:

   E-----------17b-17-17r--------------------------------------|
   B--16~~~~~~------------16~~~~~~~~~~16-18-19-16~~~~~~~~~~~---|
   G-----------------------------------------------------------|
   D-----------------------------------------------------------|
   A-----------------------------------------------------------|
   E-----------------------------------------------------------|

   E-----16----16----16-18-------------------------------------|
   B--16----16----16-------16~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~-------------------|
   G-----------------------------------------------------------|
   D-----------------------------------------------------------|
   A-----------------------------------------------------------|
   E-----------------------------------------------------------|

It should be accurate but you're welcome to tell me(gently) if it's
not. Enjoy.
