Scared Tabs

(ver. 1)
Albert Hammond Jr
Ok the other versions of this song weren't even nearly accurate, but that's a great song
i tabbed this out myself.

It's a bit tricky, because to the actual chords, albert plays a bass line, which goes
like this:

e-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------|
B-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------|
G-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------|
D---------4--------------------4----------------------------------------------------|
A-5---5-5---5-5-5-7-5-5-5--5-----7-5---------7--10--9--7--5---5-5-5-7-5-4-4-7-4-----|
E---5------------------------7--------7-9-10----------------7-------------------7-5-|

so i offer you 3 different levels of difficulty to solve this.

Firstly and most easiest, you play the simple chords and just leave the bass line out,
or if you have a second guitarist or bass player, he/she can play that line, with
you playing this:

Verse:

D
You know that something inside of you
Bm Em
Still plays a part in what i do, always
    G A
I'm here for you
D
I think that if we were all we had
Bm Em
That's more than most people ever have, anyway
                   G A
Oh anyway, you can stay here

Chorus:

Bm G D F#7
I know you're still there because you're scared that you'll lose everybody
Bm G D F#7
I know you're still there because you're scared that you'll lose everything
Bm G D F#7
I know you're still there because you're scared

Same for the other verses and choruses. Simple as that.

Second and intermediate difficulty: You include the bass tabs, but you play them
one octave higher. Why?
Because then you can simply involve them in the chords and play them as chords.
Try to accentuate the notes that are changing (D to Dsus2 upper e string and then h)

D: x00232
Dsus2: x00230
Bm: 224432
Bsus4: xx4430
Em: 022000
Em*: 022003
Em/Gb: 022002
G: 355433
G7: 353453
A: 002220

D Dsus2 D
You know that something inside of you
Bm Bsus4 Bm Em Em* Em/Gb Em
Still plays a part in what i do, aal-ways
    G G7 G A
I'm here fo-or you

Chorus goes the same and so on.

The really tricky part, but only accurate way to play this as a solo guitarist
finally is then this:

The brackets around some of the notes are to point out the bassline which should
again be accentuated.
It's quite difficult to play, when playing the D "simply use your pinky to grab
the bass notes",
with the Bm grab the bar chord without the pinky and then play the -9-10- of the
E-string with
middlefinger and pinky, whereas the ringfinger stays on the d-string.
Now on the Em you first grab normal, and after the first 4 hits you use middle
and ring finger
for the D and G string to have the pinky again free for the bass notes, exactly
same
thing goes for the G chord bit and the A chord bit.
